My Parents' Jobs

My mom is a doctor. She works at a big hospital in the city. The hospital is very large with many rooms. Sick people go there to get better. My mom helps sick people every day. She checks their health and gives them medicine.

My mom wears a white coat at work. She also has a special tool to listen to hearts. It is called a stethoscope. She is very kind to her patients. She talks to them softly and makes them feel safe. Sometimes she works at night too. This is called a night shift.

My mom studied for many years to become a doctor. She worked very hard in school. She likes her job very much because she can help people. When I am sick, my mom takes care of me. She knows exactly what medicine I need. I am lucky to have a doctor mom!

My dad is a teacher. He works at a middle school near our house. He teaches math to children. Math is about numbers and solving problems. My dad makes math fun and easy to understand. He uses games and puzzles in his class.

The students like him very much. They say he is patient and friendly. My dad always has a smile on his face. He helps students who have trouble with math. He stays after school to help them. Some students visit our house to say thank you.

My dad also coaches the school basketball team. He loves sports and teaches the students how to play. On weekends, he grades homework and prepares lessons. Being a teacher is a lot of work!

My parents go to work in the morning. My mom leaves at 7 o'clock. My dad leaves at 8 o'clock. They come home in the evening. Sometimes my mom comes home late because of emergencies.

We eat dinner together as a family. We talk about our day. My parents ask me about school. I ask them about their work. These dinners are special to me.

I am very proud of my parents! They work hard every day. My mom saves lives. My dad helps children learn. When I grow up, I want to help people too. Maybe I will be a doctor or a teacher!

우리 엄마는 의사이다. 엄마는 도시에 있는 큰 병원에서 일한다. 병원은 방이 많고 매우 크다. 아픈 사람들이 나으려고 그곳에 간다. 엄마는 매일 아픈 사람들을 돕는다. 건강을 확인하고 약을 준다.

엄마는 직장에서 하얀 가운을 입는다. 심장 소리를 듣는 특별한 도구도 있다. 청진기라고 부른다. 엄마는 환자들에게 매우 친절하다. 부드럽게 말하고 안전하다고 느끼게 해준다. 가끔 밤에도 일한다. 이것을 야간 근무라고 한다.

엄마는 의사가 되기 위해 여러 해 동안 공부했다. 학교에서 매우 열심히 했다. 사람들을 도울 수 있어서 자신의 직업을 매우 좋아한다. 내가 아플 때 엄마가 돌봐 주신다. 어떤 약이 필요한지 정확히 아신다. 의사 엄마가 있어서 운이 좋다!

우리 아빠는 선생님이다. 아빠는 우리 집 근처 중학교에서 일한다. 아이들에게 수학을 가르친다. 수학은 숫자와 문제 풀이에 관한 것이다. 아빠는 수학을 재미있고 이해하기 쉽게 만든다. 수업에서 게임과 퍼즐을 사용한다.

학생들은 아빠를 매우 좋아한다. 인내심 있고 친절하다고 말한다. 아빠는 항상 얼굴에 미소를 띠고 있다. 수학을 어려워하는 학생들을 도와준다. 방과 후에 남아서 도와준다. 어떤 학생들은 감사 인사를 하러 우리 집에 온다.

아빠는 학교 농구팀 코치도 한다. 운동을 좋아하고 학생들에게 경기 방법을 가르친다. 주말에는 숙제를 채점하고 수업을 준비한다. 선생님은 할 일이 많다!

부모님은 아침에 출근한다. 엄마는 7시에 나간다. 아빠는 8시에 나간다. 저녁에 집에 온다. 가끔 엄마는 응급 상황 때문에 늦게 온다.

우리는 가족으로서 함께 저녁을 먹는다. 하루에 대해 이야기한다. 부모님은 학교에 대해 물어보신다. 나는 부모님의 일에 대해 물어본다. 이 저녁 식사는 나에게 특별하다.

나는 부모님이 정말 자랑스럽다! 매일 열심히 일하신다. 엄마는 생명을 구한다. 아빠는 아이들이 배우도록 돕는다. 내가 크면 나도 사람들을 돕고 싶다. 어쩌면 의사나 선생님이 될지도 모른다!
