Shopping at the Market

Every Saturday morning, I go shopping at the traditional market near my house. I like this market because the food is fresh and the prices are cheaper than at supermarkets. Before I go, I always make a list of things I need to buy.

Last Saturday, we ran out of vegetables and fruit at home. So I wrote a shopping list with many items. I needed apples, tomatoes, carrots, and some fish. I also wanted to buy some tofu for dinner.

At the market, I walked around and compared prices at different shops. The fruit seller had beautiful red apples. I asked, "How much are these apples?" She said, "Three thousand won for five." That was a good price, so I bought them. I also got a discount because I am a regular customer.

Next, I went to the vegetable shop. The tomatoes looked very fresh. The owner was friendly and helped me choose the best ones. I bought a bag of tomatoes and some carrots. Then I visited the fish shop and bought some fish for my mother.

After I finished shopping, I went to the checkout to pay in cash. The total was 25,000 won. The seller gave me a receipt. I put everything in my bags and walked home. Shopping at the market is fun because I can talk to the sellers and find good bargains!

매주 토요일 아침, 나는 집 근처 전통 시장에 쇼핑하러 간다. 음식이 신선하고 슈퍼마켓보다 가격이 저렴해서 이 시장을 좋아한다. 가기 전에 항상 사야 할 것들의 목록을 만든다.

지난 토요일, 집에 채소와 과일이 떨어졌다. 그래서 많은 품목이 적힌 쇼핑 목록을 작성했다. 사과, 토마토, 당근, 그리고 생선이 필요했다. 저녁으로 두부도 사고 싶었다.

시장에서 여러 가게를 돌아다니며 가격을 비교했다. 과일 파는 분이 예쁜 빨간 사과를 가지고 계셨다. "이 사과 얼마예요?"라고 물었다. "다섯 개에 3천 원이요"라고 하셨다. 좋은 가격이어서 샀다. 단골이라 할인도 받았다.

다음으로 채소 가게에 갔다. 토마토가 매우 신선해 보였다. 주인분이 친절하게 좋은 것을 고르는 것을 도와주셨다. 토마토 한 봉지와 당근을 샀다. 그런 다음 생선 가게에 가서 어머니를 위해 생선을 샀다.

쇼핑을 마친 후 계산대에 가서 현금으로 지불했다. 총 25,000원이었다. 판매자가 영수증을 주셨다. 모든 것을 가방에 넣고 집으로 걸어왔다. 시장에서 쇼핑하는 것은 판매자분들과 이야기하고 좋은 할인 상품을 찾을 수 있어서 재미있다!
