My Camping Adventure

Last weekend, my family went camping near a lake in the mountains. It was our first camping trip this year, and I was very excited. We woke up early on Saturday morning and started packing. We packed our backpacks with food, water, and clothes. I also brought my flashlight and sleeping bag. My dad checked everything twice to make sure we didn't forget anything important.

The drive to the campsite took about two hours. The road went through beautiful forests and small villages. When we arrived in the afternoon, the view was amazing. The lake was so blue and calm. Mountains surrounded us on all sides. The air smelled fresh and clean.

We found a good spot and set up a tent near the water. It was hard work, but we did it together. My dad showed me how to hammer the tent pegs into the ground. My mom organized everything inside the tent. I laid out the sleeping bags and put our bags in the corners.

After setting up camp, we went hiking on a beautiful hiking trail. The path went along the lake and into the forest. We saw many birds and squirrels in the trees. There were also colorful wildflowers along the way. We walked for about an hour and took many photos. The exercise made us hungry!

In the evening, we made a campfire. My dad collected dry wood, and I helped him arrange it. When the fire started burning, it felt warm and cozy. We cooked dinner over the fire. We grilled sausages and vegetables on sticks. Everything tasted better outside! We also made hot chocolate to drink.

After dinner, we told stories and sang songs around the campfire. My mom told a funny story from her childhood. The stars above us were so bright because there were no city lights. I had never seen so many stars before. It was magical.

Later, when the fire died down, I got into my sleeping bag and slept outdoors for the first time. At first, I heard strange sounds from the forest, but I wasn't scared. The sounds of nature were actually peaceful. I fell asleep listening to the gentle waves of the lake.

The next morning, I woke up to birds singing. We had breakfast by the lake and watched the sun rise over the mountains. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I can't wait to go camping again!

지난 주말, 우리 가족은 산속 호수 근처로 캠핑을 갔다. 올해 첫 캠핑 여행이었고, 나는 매우 설레었다. 토요일 아침 일찍 일어나서 짐을 싸기 시작했다. 우리는 배낭에 음식, 물, 옷을 챙겼다. 나도 손전등과 침낭을 가져갔다. 아빠는 중요한 것을 잊지 않았는지 모든 것을 두 번 확인했다.

캠핑장까지 차로 약 2시간이 걸렸다. 길은 아름다운 숲과 작은 마을을 지나갔다. 오후에 도착했을 때 경치가 놀라웠다. 호수는 파랗고 잔잔했다. 사방이 산으로 둘러싸여 있었다. 공기가 신선하고 깨끗한 냄새가 났다.

좋은 장소를 찾아 물가 근처에 텐트를 쳤다. 힘든 일이었지만 함께 해냈다. 아빠가 텐트 못을 땅에 박는 법을 보여주셨다. 엄마는 텐트 안의 모든 것을 정리했다. 나는 침낭을 펴고 가방들을 구석에 놓았다.

캠프 설치 후 아름다운 등산로에서 등산을 했다. 길은 호수를 따라 숲 속으로 이어졌다. 나무에서 많은 새와 다람쥐를 보았다. 길가에 다채로운 야생화도 있었다. 약 한 시간 동안 걸으며 사진을 많이 찍었다. 운동을 하니 배가 고팠다!

저녁에는 모닥불을 피웠다. 아빠가 마른 나무를 모으고, 나는 정리하는 것을 도왔다. 불이 타기 시작하니 따뜻하고 아늑했다. 불 위에서 저녁을 요리했다. 막대기에 소시지와 채소를 구웠다. 밖에서 먹으니 모든 것이 더 맛있었다! 핫초코도 만들어 마셨다.

저녁 식사 후 캠프파이어 주위에서 이야기를 나누고 노래를 불렀다. 엄마가 어린 시절의 재미있는 이야기를 해주셨다. 도시 불빛이 없어서 머리 위의 별들이 매우 밝았다. 그렇게 많은 별을 본 적이 없었다. 마법 같았다.

나중에 불이 꺼지자 침낭에 들어가 처음으로 야외에서 잤다. 처음에는 숲에서 이상한 소리가 들렸지만 무섭지 않았다. 자연의 소리는 실제로 평화로웠다. 호수의 잔잔한 파도 소리를 들으며 잠들었다.

다음 날 아침, 새소리에 일어났다. 호수 옆에서 아침을 먹으며 산 위로 해가 뜨는 것을 봤다. 내가 본 것 중 가장 아름다운 것 중 하나였다. 다시 캠핑 가는 것이 기다려진다!
