Baking at Home

I love to bake at home on weekends. It is fun and relaxing. I usually follow a recipe from a cooking website or my grandmother's old cookbook.

Last Sunday, I made chocolate chip cookies. First, I gathered all the ingredients: flour, sugar, butter, eggs, and chocolate chips. Then, I preheated the oven to 180 degrees. Next, I mixed together the butter and sugar until they were smooth. After that, I added the eggs and flour slowly.

I put small balls of dough on a baking tray. I baked them for about 12 minutes. When they were golden brown, I took them out and let them cool down. The kitchen smelled delicious!

Homemade cookies taste better than store-bought ones. I often bake cookies and banana bread for my friends. They always ask me for the recipe. Baking is a wonderful hobby because you can share what you make with others.
